An artist of emotion and free expression, DUGA paints and sculpts viscerally, in a state of regression, on the bangs of contemporary artistic trends. He gives free rein to his emotions through a variety of techniques, with drawing, painting and sculpture remaining his preferred mediums. Basquiat, Combas and the Figuration Libre movement, Aléchinsky, Appel and the Cobra group, Picasso, Schiele and Expressionism, Dubuffet and Art Brut, Street Art… have all influenced his work. The writings and graffiti of Street Art interest him for the fluidity and speed of their gestures, and the explosion of color. For DUGA, anything is possible. And he’ll be demonstrating just how.
A live performance by
TONI GARAU
The threads and bobbins used by Mallorcan artist Toni Garau in his works are intentionally sourced from the old factories in his native village of Sóller. His complex installations pay homage to the work carried out by women workers in the region’s textile industry during a bygone era. The women’s revolution in Sóller’s textile industry at the end of the 19th century is a key element for Toni Garau and her work. It is the main source of inspiration for her creative process. A process you can admire live.
An exercise in hammer-and-chisel style from
JOSÉ SAHAGUN
Sculptor, sculpture teacher and explorer of materials and forms, José Sahagun loves nothing more than handling the tools that shape clay, glass, metal and stone, among other favorite materials. He also likes to give new life to old industrial materials that are outdated or out of use, and will show us how a rough-hewn, inert stone can take shape and become a work of art. Beware of splinters.

Tasting of the winemaker’s Brussels wines
GUDULE URBAN WINERY
“Walking the roads of France and Navarre, I put on my boots to smell the soil, sharpen my senses and feed my passion for wine. Then, one day, I decided to make it my profession. However, not owning any vines and living in Brussels, the challenge was great. There was only one solution for me: to bring in the grapes, in bunches. And that’s where I work, surrounded by my family and friends. My name is Thierry Lejeune and I used to be a printer.”
