Born in Brussels in 1957, he is an autodidact for whom, in parallel with a classical professional life, photography has always been a means of expression. For several years, he traveled the world, working on a reportage illustrating the 50s through festivals, or “people well in their century who have their heart in another”. He held his first exhibition in 2012, and a book entitled “50s’TODAY” was published in 2015, to great acclaim from the press and public alike.
In 2020, an immersion in the Erasme Hospital during the covid crisis gave rise to a book that will be distributed in over 7,000 copies, 5,000 of which will be offered to the hospital’s staff.
His latest work, published in 2024, is a luxurious album tracing the lives of young prodigies at the Musica Mundi School and Festival, the breeding ground for tomorrow’s classical musicians.
In 2017 The acquisition of a Leica pushes him to undertake more personal and artistic work. He gains in confidence with the recognition of some of these images by specialized sites and recognized magazines. Encouraged by several prizes, including an “Award” at the Trieste Photo Festival in 2023, he develops the “Metropolis” series, which is now the essence of his work.
