During a training course in July 2005, Carole discovered working with clay and fell in love with the material.

She enrolled at the Académie des Beaux-Arts de Namur in ceramics, where she took a 6-year course to learn the technical basics.

Fascinated by plant forms, Carole enjoys walking in nature and observing. She also watches a lot of nature and ocean programmes. She’s fascinated by the seabed and the diversity of coral found there. She begins to research and then lets her ideas mature for a while.
